Job Description

Our client is a world leading European manufacturing company that develops and specializes in cutting and bending solutions for sheet processing. They have a turnover of about EUR 450 million annually with approximately 30 sales and service companies worldwide, supported by over 1500 employees. Due to their business expansion within South East Asia, they are inviting experienced sales professionals with knowledge and experience in commercial services to join them as a Sales Manager for their operations in Malaysia.

Purpose:
The Sales Manager Malaysia will report direct to the Sales Director and is responsible for prospecting the market for new customers, understanding the customers’ needs and maintaining good working relationships as well as providing market information. He/She will be leading and supporting the sales development to all operations within Malaysia and the region.

Qualification:
•    Diploma/Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering and/or other relevant disciplines
    
Experience & Technical Competencies:
•    Significant years of experience in regional sales & business development with proven track record
•    Direct sales experience
•    Strong knowledge and working experience within the machine tools, cutting and sheet metal industry in Malaysia and South East Asia
•    International experience would be highly advantageous

Languages:
•    Proficiency in English is required
•    Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is advantageous
