POSITION DESCRIPTION

To assist the Managing Director in overseeing the works of the Contracts Management team by ensuring that the projects are delivered on time and within the budget.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the Executive Office to oversee the commercial aspects of tender and contracts processes for all the company’s projects in Malaysia.

Ensures that decisions do not compromise values to purchasers.

Participate in project procurement activities from tender stage to accounts finalization.

Challenge and put in commercial view in the tender process and final contract.

Responsible for conducting operational and compliance audit review by ensuring compliance with standard operating policies and procedures including review of internal controls and checks.

Provide value added recommendations for improvements in internal control and non-compliance.

Perform ad hoc audit, special review and investigation as and when required by the business.

Conducts follow up on audit report and recommendations and monitor agreed action plan.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Experience in the property development or construction industry with a degree or professional qualification in Finance, Quantity Survey, or related discipline.

Good understanding of tender process and contracts, construction methods and property development activities.

Possess good auditing skills with experience in fraud auditing an added advantage and able to demonstrate good understanding of the business and commercial aspects of the property industry

Good command of English with strong analytical and inter-personal communication skills.

Able to work independently, deliver within timeline and travel outstation as and when required.
