POSITION DESCRIPTION

To manage the implementation of the sales plans of product/market combinations (or related portfolio) in a defined customers or areas.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and implement the yearly sales budget in a defined customer or area

Develop key customer action plan

Pay visits to potential and/or existing customer to negotiate and conclude about sales objectives

Pay visits to potential and/or existing customers to create and maintain good relationships and to be well informed about developments with customers and in the market.

Negotiate price and payment conditions with customers within the limits set by Sales Manager or business management.

Supervise activities of indirect (e.g. sales support) personnel; manage customer complaints.

Introduce new products, applications or grades to the customers or in the market.

Collect market information and indicate market trends.

Coordinate actions to minimize overdue, avoid bad debts and day of sales outstanding based on information of the Financial Officer.

Manage distributors/ agents and sub-distributors/ sub-agents within approved contracts.

Manage cost budgets and coach employees of the distributors

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

At least 5-8 years of experience in animal feed business

Fluent in English (both written and oral)

Know-how on Animal Nutrition and health industry and markets, in-depth know-how about products and/or applications

Balance of commercial and technical know-how, skills and experience

At least Bachelor Degree in Animal Husbandry (or Veterinary Science) or equivalent experience in Poultry Science/related field
