Our client is the first Indonesian LNG project developed as a "downstream business activity" based on Law No. 22 of 2001, which enables separate development of upstream (feedstock gas supply) and downstream (LNG manufacturing) businesses

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Execute overall operational support with focus on safety and efficient operation of the plant including short term complex operation and production planning (ADP) Annual Delivery Plan, optimizing shipping utilization to improve complex efficiency, process problem solving and optimization, planned shutdown activities preparation and Train start up

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Represent our client on all gas supply issue like gas demand forecast, actual gas intake, metering (custody transfer) and maintains regular communication with suppliers and customers

Drive technical aspects related to new and existing Gas Supply Agreements, Sales Purchase Agreements and Services agreements

Develop and maintain long term our client operation and production planning to support the company long term business planning

Manages the Annual Delivery Plan (ADP) and advice TD / OM on requirements of gas suppliers and customers so that maintenance/shutdown and production plans can be derived

Drive operations compliance with Process Safety requirements including the Management of Change process, reliability and non-standard activities to safeguard / improve reliability of the facilities

Lead and verify operational readiness for maintenance shutdowns activities ex. preparation, execution of operation activities and safe and timely Train start up

Together of Day Superintendent, identify and resolve non-routine and complex operations issues such as troubleshooting and integrate a range of inputs and advice from varying technical fields

Drive Alarm management review process to support the production superintendent on providing proposals for improvement to reduce alarm frequency and resolve standing critical alarms and

Manage operation department audits plan/action and ensure compliance

Implement QHSE regulation within his/her area of responsibility in order to minimize any possible risk and comply with company and government regulation

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education (State the minimum education needed to perform this job)

Degree in chemical/mechanical engineering (BSc. or equivalent)

Other Qualifications (Specific certification, courses and skills needed to perform this job)

Good writing skills to construct technical reports and new operating procedure

Experience (State the minimum job related experience needed - specify type and duration to perform this job)

Ten (10) years manufacturing experience of which 5 years in LNG Operations line management

Incumbent without formal qualifications requires 15 years of LNG manufacturing experience of which 10 years in line management.

Team worker, ability to quick learn and show aptitude follow orders and proper behavior in relation to safety

Senior/experienced Operators:

Demonstrate strong aptitude of accountability, ability to speak English and ability to coach junior operators/technicians
