POSITION DESCRIPTION

To manage, develop and grow the business of assigned accounts within the Pharmaceuticals industry portfolio in Indonesia.

To develop marketing strategies, market development and key account plans, based on the agreed targets and budgets.

Managing accounts need energy, critical thinking, fast reaction and flexibility. Knowledge of marketing, manufacturing and QA processes are also important to effectively handle the position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and implement the yearly sales budget for the assigned accounts.

Develop and maintain good working relationship with assigned accounts.

Propose pricing and payment term strategies and negotiate contracts with assigned accounts.

Provide sales, logistics and technical services to assigned customers.

Monitor and follow-up payments of accounts.

Monitor and report developments in the industry, competitors, customers and regulatory environment.

Define, implement, monitor and report on market development plans

Manage customers’ complaints promptly.

Introduce new products, concepts, applications or grades to the assigned accounts.

Monitor, forecast and manage requirements of assigned accounts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and/or business related field.

Excellent communication and social skills

Knowledge of industry and markets, good know-how about products and/or and/or applications

Proficient to advanced user of common computer packages (e.g. word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software) and SAP based software

Working experience in technical, QA, or product development.

Minimum 5 years working experience in sales, marketing, production or QA in the food and/or pharmaceutical industries
