Job Description

Our client is one of group leading ceramics tiles manufacturer in Indonesia. They produce ceramic floor tiles and wall tiles with many ranges of tile sizes. They will build a new company for gypsum manufacturing. They will expand their business in Asia Pacific.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the successful and complete startup of the new manufacturing facilities with total efficiency and effectiveness in all area, and schedule, within the manufacturing arena.

Immediate Supervisor: Director, Manufacturing or Designated

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership, direction, expertise and support for all Manufacturing and Manufacturing-related operations and activities.

Ensure that the Manufacturing capabilities and capacities meet and/or exceed the customer requirements and expectations for product quality, innovation, cost, and services.

Ensure that products and schedule are in accordance to agreed plan, with sufficient inventory for immediate sales & distribution.

Spearhead and lead continuous improvement programs in the manufacturing area, translating to improvement in product quality and performance, manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness, production and product cost, and overall growth in all aspects.

Ensure that the manufacturing is sufficiently staffed and manned, with competent, qualified, and resourceful personnel.

Develop technical and operational competencies and technical prowess in Manufacturing.

Research, analyze and propose investment for manufacturing technology and capabilities enhancement, and requirements to meet market and marketing needs.

Work closely with The Director, Manufacturing, and other Senior Management team on manufacturing plans and strategies, product innovations, goals, and company’ strategic plans and implementations.

Any other job assignments as assigned by the immediate Supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 7 years of related experience in similar manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial capacity.

Preferably having Chemical Engineering background or minimum Engineering discipline.

Minimum education level S1, preferably S2 qualified.

Advanced analytical skills.

A Team Player in all aspects.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Strong communication skills and able to interact and manage at all levels.

Hands-On personality

Good command of Indonesian and English Languages, written and spoken.

Strong computer knowledge and skills.

Candidate must be result oriented and driven, with the abilities to train and motivate staffs to achieve excellence and agreed goals and objectives (KPI).

Candidate must be resourceful with a Make-It-Happen mindset, sense of urgency and the ability and willingness to work hard.

Willingness to travel within Indonesia, with some overseas travel
