Our Client is a world leading European producer and manufacturer of lime, dolime and minerals, with over 100 years of presence in the market. They have a turnover of about EUR 2 billion annually and currently operating more than 80 manufacturing plants in almost 30 countries that are supported by over 5000 employees. Our Client's services entailed customized solutions, assured quality, tailored customer technical services, and flexible logistics solutions. They provide their products to a diversity of different market places including sectors such as Iron & Steel, Chemicals, Oil, Gas & Biofuels, Construction & Civil Engineering, Environment, Agriculture & Forestry, just to name a few. Due to business expansion within Asia, they are looking to invite a senior experienced construction professional within the Mining/Minerals industry to join them as a Senior Construction Manager in their Malaysia operation.

Purpose:
The Non Ferrous Market Manager - Asia & Africa will report direct to the Senior Market Manager, Environment & Mining. He/She is responsible for developing and maximizing sustainable growth & sales revenues of the non ferrous market in Malaysia. He/She will also be an important contributor to the creation of a strong commercial team.

Qualification:
"    Bachelors/Masters in Sales/Marketing/Business/Commerce and/or other relevant disciplines

Experience & Technical Competencies:
"    Extensive significant years of experience in sales/commercial/business development
"    Prior and current experience working within natural resources/minerals industry with a focus on non ferrous metals such as copper, zinc, aluminium, nickel, lead etc
"    In-depth understanding of the natural resources/minerals market in terms of activities, key influencers in respective regions, authorities, government representatives, customers etc
"    Asia experience of the above mentioned necessary; Africa experience will be highly advantageous

Languages:
"    Fluent in English & Bahasa Malay is required
"    French language ability will be desirable (new business development for Central Africa)
