Job Description
Our client is a global European leading manufacturer of high quality welding consumables for the steel industry. They started their business in the early 1930s and are notable for medium - to high-alloyed grades.They have presence of manufacturing facilities in Europe, North & South America, and Asia, over 34 sales offices production units on a global basis, supplying an extensive range of products and technical services. They have a vast range of products in the areas of joint welding, cladding, hardfacing, brazing. Transportation, oil & gas, brazing,chemical,power generation are some of the industries which they provide their products & services to. Due to strategic plans for business efficiency in Asia Pacific, they are inviting a senior professional with knowledge and experience in HR business partner model and management in Asia Pacific region to join them in their Singapore office for the following opportunity.
Purpose:
The Regional HR Manager Asia-Pacific reports to the Global HR Director and is responsible for providing professional HR guidance to the regional and operational function of the organization in line with the global HR.
Qualification:
Bachelors degree (Law/Economics/Psychology)
Experience & Technical Competencies:
Significant experience in regional HR management
Several years within the Manufacturing space as HR Manager or HR Business Partner
Strong understanding of the structure and development in the regional employment market
Relevant work experience in talent, change management
Strong knowledge in leading, motivating and coordinating teams
Languages:
Proficiency in both written and verbal English
