Our client, a leading multinational specialty chemical company providing high-quality, customized solutions in specialty chemicals, for innovative and sustainable technologies, is currently seeking high potential candidates to fill the HR Manager Generalist.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The HR Manager – Generalist is a newly created position within the organization structure. This position is created to assist Head of HR Country in planning and managing HR practices of IR, Compensation & Benefit, Recruitment & Training, Personnel Administration, Employee Development and Performance Management program designed by corporate HR.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Keep abreast with Labor Law & Government Regulation, all HR policies - proactively suggest the implication to the Head of HR and for the best of Company interest.

Maintain & Improve relationship with Man Power Officer, Jamsostek officer & Labor Union Representatives

Hands-on in the IR (Industrial Relations) issue; Handle & solve problems & disputes come up regarding Human resources topics for Head Office & All factories

Maintain and update HR Policies - in line with Company goal & strategies.

Plan, execute, evaluate recruitment as well as employee training & development

Prepare the planning for Employer Branding activities, such as University Recruitment or other means that necessary to be taken.

Prepare TNA and conduct Training Effectiveness Assessment for the Company.

Run annual salary review - propose regular annual increment as well as other case such e.g. job enlargement and promotion

Coordinate with compensation benefit regional managers and follow up the action plan to fulfill its target i.e. reporting, filled up templates.

Manage and coordinate HR compensation & benefit area.

Provide sound recommendation related to Compensation & Benefits policies, plans and programs that align with company’s strategy and compliance to government regulation.

Supervise and accountable for payroll processing.

Involve intensively with the market practice benchmark e.g. work well with Mercer data & report.

Involve actively with the peers industry network to gain valuable information on C & B.

Organize, coordinate and monitor all matters related personnel administration.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree in Economy, Psychology or Law; Possess Master degree is preferred

Strong exposure in handling personal admin and Industrial Relationship in the manufacturing environment, in multinational working environment

Experience with annual salary review exercises and using well known salary/benefit survey methods e.g. Mercer and preferably experience with SAP payroll

Well experience in handling hiring process and facilitating trainings

5-8 years related experiences

Team work and building relationship i.e. strong team contributor instead of single-contributor

Build rapport quickly and maintain relationships well with different group members.

Effective communication; able to resolve misunderstanding by using direct and fair communication method/means e.g. one-on-one discussion instead of exchanging emails.

Problem Solving (ability: strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills)

Manage Time and Tasks effectively

Customer Orientation, Willing to provide extra miles

Computer literate esp. excel; SAP for HR is preferred

English proficiency in verbal and written is a must.
