Job Description
Purpose:
The Regional Vice President, APAC will be leading all the sales & functional support teams for the region (SEA, and possibly China, Australasia) and responsible for non-sales functional teams residents. H/She will also have to visit sites within the region on project assignments. The individual will be part of the Executive Leadership Team of the Company and takes ownership and accountability for the delivery of the total annual revenue number assigned, approximately £15-£20 million annually.
Qualification:
Bachelors/Masters Degree in IT/Business/Commerce discipline
Experience & Technical Competencies:
Extensive significant years of software & hardware solution sales & general management/leadership experience, preferably in transformational sales environments
Distributor/channel experience is crucial; direct sales would be advantageous
Necessary to have APAC experience and/or managed teams globally
Proven sales track record within the Education market or selling to government verticals
Has/had identify, or regularly deals with key Education influencers within the APAC market currently/previously
Languages:
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Additional Asian language ability such as Mandarin would be highly desirable
