Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Leads the Mechanical section in the maintenance department

Leads the safe planning and execution of maintenance work for LNG plant and associated facilities

Ensures Corporate Process and Personal Safety policies are followed in his section

Coaching and mentoring of staff

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Review two years spare parts and recommend for stock inventory in order to ensure inventory level as per agreed standard.

Develop maintenance related activities procedures in Mechanical.

Recommend specialist tools and equipment for ongoing operation.

Recommend procurement of cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment.

Assist in punch listing of construction and completed construction activities.

Provide supervisory management during plant start-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.

Safe and efficient planning and execution of Mechanical work

Maintenance (Corrective, Preventive, Condition-based) and modifications work execution

Coaching and mentoring of junior staff, on-the-job-training (OJT) for dedicated staff

Equipment troubleshooting, failure and root cause analysis

Implement QHSE regulation within his/her area of responsibility in order to minimize any possible risk and comply with company and government regulation.

Coach and develop subordinates in his/her area of responsibility in order to ensure they have the skills & capability in performing more effective & efficient work within the organization.

Special accountabilities during project phase

Development and review of 3rd party work for Planned Maintenance Programs, Inspection Programs, Spares review

Build Mechanical maintenance team

Monitor and witness commissioning activities

Develop maintenance work procedures

Contribute to development, testing, and improvement of Computerized Maintenance System

Contributes to development and implementation of specialist maintenance support contracts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from college or university or Part Time Technical Courses

Full command of English language

Interpersonal and leadership skills

Good writing and presentation skills

Oil & gas Mechanical maintenance and engineering minimum 10 years

Supervisory experience from minimum 10 people for 5 years

LNG process & equipment experience in Petrochemical, LNG, or Refinery companies minimum 8 years

Work planning & management minimum 5 years

Computerized Maintenance Management Systems – minimum 10 years

Patient and dedicated coach and trainer for developing staff
