Job Description

Our client is a boutique property development firm specializing in high end and high rise residential and commercial properties. The developments include projects in Kuala Lumpur, Melacca, Petaling Jaya, Johor and London.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

To spearhead the existing and upcoming projects and assist the CEO in handling major decisions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Development

Provide adequate input/ comment in term of practicality of the design, timeline, milestone achievement & key lessons/ learning from past experiences.

Review project plan to determine specifications, time frame, cost limitations & procedures for accomplishment of project, allotment of resources to various phases of the project.

To evaluate and assess specialists and sub-contractors.

Post-development (Project Implementation)

Manage the approved plan to achieve project deliverables and timeline objectives.

Monitor activities of project team including consultants and contractors, to ensure project progresses based on specifications, schedule and within prescribed budget and in accordance with the Project Quality Plan (PQP) standards.

Participate in the Client Consultant Meeting, when is necessary.

Review project reports for management/relevant stakeholders.

Ensure contractors comply with authorities' requirements.

Involves with defects rectification work for “First Defects” list.

Managing the Team

To lead project team with directive objective that in line with company’s vision.

Provides the team with a platform/avenue to regularly engage & involve them in the project activities (e.g. team meeting).

Monitor & manage team's performance against objectives/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set & takes necessary action.

Develop team by reviewing overall functional training needs & plan and collaborate with Human Resources department for implementation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

Required skill(s): CONQUAS, MS Office, MS Project.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese (Speaking)

At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the related field with min. 5 years in senior management is required for this position.

Must be equipped with experience in managing high end & high rise projects.
