Job Description

Our Client is an international group which today represents the largest manufacturer of piston compressors in the world due to its consolidated experience and the leadership of a family which has dedicated itself to compressed air for two generations.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will direct the work of inspectors involved in evaluating incoming materials to be used for the production process, he/she will co-operate with technical, purchasing and production departments.

Develop quality control procedures and analyze the data from inspector reports.

Resolve quality problems as they are revealed through inspection procedures.

Visit suppliers, if requested, to discuss, solve and prevent quality problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Be familiar with inspection processes and procedures related to mechanical components (crankshafts, aluminum and cast iron castings, plastic parts etc.

Be familiar with using the test and measuring equipment during quality inspections, in particular 3D measuring machines.

Ability to lead teams and manage projects also complete the list of necessary abilities.

More than 8 years in similar position in mechanical industries.

Fluent English and possibly Chinese and/or Italian.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
