Job Description

Our client is a leading company offering a large range of hydraulic valves for irrigation, municipal and fire-protection fields, including air valves and other comprehensive products. It has been the recognized pioneer and world leading provider of high quality Hydraulic Control Valves. It provides incorporating advanced flow control technologies and best of breed solutions. They have been in China for the last 15 years and are involved in many projects.


We are looking for a person who can lead the Company sales efforts in Guangxi and south-west provinces.

The individual will be part of a sales team and responsible for transferring the Company’s vision, strategy and direction to his irrigation customers.

The sales manager will apply the company’s strategy and implement the action plans to meet corporate objectives.  He will be responsible for sales activities in the territory which include providing sales, marketing and technical support, product/technical information, engineering specifications, technical submittals and initial trouble-shooting assistance to consulting engineers, end-users, sales representatives, all the above with the close assistance of the headquarter team (Department manager and Application Engineer).

Note: successful applicants will go through an extensive training at the beginning of their work.


Industry: Industrial / Agriculture (Irrigation)

Reports to: Irrigation Sector Manager (Shanghai)

Responsible for establishing and developing the company's Agriculture customer base achieving the sales goals, objectives, and procedures

Pro-active responsibility for sales and marketing activity to lead the promotion and integration of the company’s solutions to customers in the territory.

Providing pre and post-sales support from project request through implementation of integrated solutions to customers and end users, with the close assistance of the HQ.

Involved in project bids taking place in territories.

Participating in local trade shows.

Make field service calls to end users, growers and irrigation companies within the region.

Present the company’s products through technical seminars, with HQ assistance.

Provide feedback from the customers regarding the need for new products and required product improvements.

Travel within the territory with overnight.


University degree in irrigation field or related to

Sales experience in the commercial irrigation market

Knowledge and experience of the irrigation industry

Effective solution selling abilities

Experience in conducting product seminars to large professional groups

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task effectively

Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills

Self-motivated, able to work independently

English skills is a plus
