Our Client is a world leading European producer and manufacturer of lime, dolime and minerals, with over 100 years of presence in the market. They have a turnover of about EUR 2 billion annually and currently operating more than 80 manufacturing plants in almost 30 countries that are supported by over 5000 employees. Our Client’s services entailed customized solutions, assured quality, tailored customer technical services, and flexible logistics solutions. They provide their products to a diversity of different market places including sectors such as Iron & Steel, Chemicals, Oil, Gas & Biofuels, Construction & Civil Engineering, Environment, Agriculture & Forestry, just to name a few. Due to business expansion within Asia, they are looking to invite a senior sales and project development professional within the Mining/Minerals industry to join them as an Area Sales & Development Manager – Indonesia.

The Area Sales & Development Manager – Indonesia reports direct to the Sales & Marketing Director Asia and responsible for supporting both the sales and project development in Indonesia in relation with the Company’s Malaysia project. This is done through understanding the industry demand from a commercial, logistics and technical point of view, and also understanding the competition positions and projects. He/She will convert these key findings together with the Company’s technical knowledge into Lime Long Term Supply Agreements and application services to support customer operations. This role will also be assisting the Management to prepare development projects. (i.e. acquisitions, partnerships, just to name a few)

• Bachelors/Masters of Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or other relevant discipline

Experience & Technical Competencies:
• Extensive significant years of Indonesia and/or Malaysia sales experience in the Mining/Mineral industry within MNC business environments
• Proven track record demonstrating competency in sales and new business developments
• Technical familiarity with the processing, handling, storage, permits, mineral plants (lime, cement, industrial minerals)
• Practical logistics and networking in mineral chemistry
• Knowledge of the mining and minerals industry
• Keen interest in field work and in business dimension of his/her work

• Proficiency in English & Bahasa Indonesia
