Our client is a leading international company with some +500 employees offering complete product information solutions within customer service and online marketing - solutions that add value to brands and make products attractive and simple to understand and use. Their offers support their customers’ products throughout the product life cycle; from marketing and sales to installation, maintenance and repair, regardless if the products are targeted for professional or consumer end-users. Their customers are found within industries having complex products, e.g., automotive, telecom and manufacturing industry. Our client operates in an international market, with offices in Sweden, the UK, Germany, Hungary and China.

The Role


The role encompasses the responsibility to continue to build and develop our local team of resources within the area of after-sales product information for the automotive industry, as well as to nurture existing and new customer relationships and to organize and drive business development activities. The team is expected to be able to support local customers with development and delivery of services within areas such as owner’s information, diagnostic information, service information, parts and accessories information, training solutions, and translation management. We target to grow the professional team with sufficient competence and capabilities to fulfill increasingly sophisticated customer demands. The role is a part of our Chinese operations but will also have strong connections to, and the need to cooperate with, our automotive operations in Europe in order to ascertain effective competence development of employees and high quality deliveries to our customers.


Duties and Responsibilities


Developing a competent automotive team that can meet increasingly demanding customer demands in China

Managing daily operations for automotive business and projects

Maintaining and developing customer relationship both at project level and managerial level

Developing new automotive business within the area of after-sales product information

Extensive experience in recruiting, developing, retaining and running a high-performance team

Track record in effective customer relationship management as well as quality production and delivery of services to customers

Years of experience in the automotive industry and preferably has a passion and genuine professional interests in automotive

More specific knowledge and experience in the after-sales area, both within technical and managerial terms, are highly desirable

Experience in working with service deliveries in an “entrepreneurial” environment with a professional, proactive and innovative attitude

Well-disciplined to operate within company rules and policies with high professional and ethical integrity

Prior P&L-responsibility and a background of senior project management

Extensive experience in business development and the ability to identify, create and develop appropriate business opportunities to full fruition

Strong business acumen as well as superb skills in developing and maintaining customer relationship

Excellent English skills, both written and spoken




MSc or BSc degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive engineering, etc.)

Fluent in English, both in writing and speaking

Fluent in Chinese Mandarin, both in writing and speaking

Excellent communication skills

Good organizational and time-management skills

Studies overseas is a benefit
