Job Description

Our client is a large global Swiss specialized chemicals company which markets seeds and pesticides. They are involved in biotechnology and genomic research.

To provide HR partnership to business leaders, their leadership teams and organizations including

contributing to Crop and Commercial Unit strategy, developing and executing an aligned people strategy

designing and driving the coherent implementation of Global/Regional /Territory people and HR plans and processes

To provide change management expertise and coach managers and leaders in leadership capabilities

Manage relevant Employee Relations and Industrial Relations activities as assigned



Partner with the leadership team to design and deliver people strategies, processes and products that are aligned with Global/Regional/Territory direction, and which ensure that the organizational capability, processes, systems, structure and culture are in place to drive the achievement of business goals

Ensure that the implications of global and local people strategy are well understood and aligned, and that the HR capability and culture is in place to enable delivery

Champion and develop business partnering across the businesses and functions in line with the Company philosophy and approach

Take responsibility for the embedding of robust people management disciplines including talent management, people development, performance management, and facilitate cross functional/business forums to enable effective people management and development

Coach and challenge senior leadership to develop the organizational capability and resources required to enable delivery of business strategy, and to provide coaching and feedback to ensure the development of their leadership capability

Provide, and develop in others, change management and catalytic capability to enable leadership team development, business transformation and the ongoing development of the Company culture

Partner with Centers of Excellence to develop and implement Compensation & Benefits (C&B) and People and Organizational Development (POD) plans

Partner with HR Services to ensure delivery of effective and customer focused HR Operations.

Proactively recognize risk and take appropriate steps to mitigate the same in consultation with the Territory HR Head

Be accountable, as assigned, for HR compliance in line with local regulations and standards and to manage business risk arising from employment liability

Build effective employee partnerships and consultation processes with representative bodies and unions, and contribute to regional consultation processes as assigned

Lead, or participate in, cross-business, cross Territory HR projects and identify opportunities to share practices across countries or learn from others

Keep up to date with the latest developments in HR practice and introduce new approaches as appropriate

Engaging stakeholders, gaining commitment, mobilizing virtual teams

High level of professional competence


10 years above HR in MNC, including 5 years experiences as HR Manager in a Country role

BSC or above in any professional discipline. A profile with HRD/HRM Master Degree, or MBA degree is preferred
