Scope: Regional - Asia Pacific

Reports to: Head of Regional Sustainability & Regulatory Affair/Head of CFPS

This position is to Ensure compliance to local and regional requirements and marketability of company’s products, raw material and traded goods.


Assuring legal compliance

Ensure compliance to legal requirements (registration, notification, transport, and import/export) of all products

Monitors regional/local regulatory requirements in close contact with BU’s and CFPS

Coordinates with CFPS if new registration activities are necessary

Assuring a correct data maintenance

Ensures correct flagging and control of legal compliance

Collects data and maintains them in WINS/EH&S

Release the required legal documents to support our products (SDSs, labels, food contract declaration)

Customer and BU support

Ensures that all BU product stewardships priorities and customer demands are satisfactorily met

Communicates and builds awareness for new regulatory requirement within the network of PS and Bus

Monitors changes in marketability of finished goods and raw material and informs the Bus accordingly

Strategy Lobbying

Represent company and company positions in strategic committees (National association)

Represent company toward local authorities

People Management

Manages local PS staff and ensures its efficiency and work distribution

Ensures continuous improvement of expert knowledge



Degree in chemistry (preferred)

Business Experience:

Expert knowledge in chemical legislation, both local and regional

Good skills in people management

Company Experience:

Sound knowledge on company’s products portfolio and on BU specific requirements
