Job Description

A European company, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, is currently looking for a high qualified candidate to fill in the Finance & Accounting Manager position – one of the key roles within the company’s organization structure – and to play a pivotal role in improving, managing, and controlling the Finance areas.


To drive and support the achievement of company’s business objectives and contributes to the ongoing development of unit’s business performance by developing and implementing finance policies, programs, and systems.

To help to control company’s financial assets and provide complete and accurate financial information and records at a unit level.

To report to Managing Director and Regional CFO in Singapore also manage a team of 5-6 persons.


Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making to develop and implement finance and controlling systems and processes that align with the organization's overall vision and its current and future business objectives.

Lead the finance function so that financial and controlling transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet the organization's short and long-term business objectives and comply with regulations and company’s policy.

Support the business forecasting process.

Develop and implement annual budgets in line with global budgeting guidelines.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting policies, systems and procedures in achieving strategic objectives.

Review the organization's financial reports and business performance reports to ensure they are accurate and present the findings and recommendations to other Senior Management.

Support the internal audit program activities within the Unit.

Coordinate, develop and manage cash flow and credit/collections activities.

Liaise with senior management to develop and implement finance strategies.

Direct all employees in Finance to ensure that the financial strategy is implemented effectively, consistently and according to established guidelines and budgets.

Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of managers and professionals to achieve established goals.


Mature, in his/her mid-40s.

Has minimum 5 years of working experience as a Controller.

Strong leadership and firm.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good MS. Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and presentation skills.

Excellent English – verbal and written.

Experience in SAP is a preference.

Professional qualifications as appropriate.
